Dr. Laura Bidner studied the spatial ecology of leopards, baboons, and vervets in Laikipia, Kenya, using GPS technology.  This research will help to advance theory in primate socioecology by contributing sorely needed empirical data on predator-prey relationships.  It will also help in reconstructing the ecological conditions faced by early hominins in similar East African savannah-woodland environments.
